 Miss World Sportswoman 2016

LANDOVER, Maryland, United States - Natalia Asinata Simahite Short (Cook Islands) won the Miss World Sportswoman 2016 title at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland on December 12. She's now fast tracked to the semifinals of Miss World 2016 by earning a spot in the Top 20. It is the first time that Cook Islands wins a challenge event and it is also the first time that Cook Islands makes the semifinals of Miss World. In second place was Angelica Zacchigna (Croatia) and in third place was Anthea Zammit (Malta).
