Miss World 2014 | Service of Unity

The contestants of Miss World 2014 took part in a Service of Unity and Remembrance on November 23 at the Gibson Hall in London to unite the contestants and showcase the connectedness of all people regardless of race, color, or creed. The event honored Honduras' María José Alvarado Muñoz and her sister Sofía Trinidad. After several contestants delivered their messages of support, condolences, and hopes for the future, Julia Morley announced that she and the new Miss World will travel to Honduras to build a school in María José and Sofía's town named after the two young women.
