Miss España 2011

 Miss España 2011
SEVILLE, Spain - Andrea Huisgen Serrano (20, 1.81m, Barcelona) was crowned Miss España 2011 (Miss Spain 2011) at the Palacio de los Sueños in Seville. Aránzazu Estévez Godoy (22, 1.81m, Santa María de Guía) finished as the first runner-up or Primera Dama de Honor and is expected to represent Spain in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia next August. Ana Crespo Martínez was the second runner-up and will compete in Miss International 2012. Ainhoa García Roca, Lidia de Sousa Muñoz and Belinda Gutiérrez Tobe completed the Top Six.

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala - Laura Beatriz Godoy Calle (23, 1.74m, Guatemala City) was crowned Miss Universo Guatemala 2012 at the conclusion of the Miss Guatemala 2012 pageant. She will represent Guatemala in Miss Universe 2012. 

 Miss Mundo Guatemala 2012
Monique Georgette Aparicio (21, 1.78m, Guatemala City) won the Miss Mundo Guatemala 2012 title at the same event held at the Ilumina Convention Center in Guatemala City. She will represent Guatemala in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia next August.

 Miss Internacional Guatemala 2012
Christa García (19, 1.70m, Guatemala City) is the new Miss Internacional Guatemala 2012 and will go to Miss International 2012. 

The Miss Guatemala pageant is organized by Belleza Guatemala SA, license holder of the three greatest international pageants.

TOKYO, Japan - Ikumi Yoshimatsu (24, 1.70m, Saga) was crowned Miss International Japan 2012 in Tokyo. She will represent Japan in Miss International 2012. Miss World Japan was not crowned on the ceremony. Nozomi Igarashi, Yurie Iwata and Nana Kurobe finished second, third, and fourth, respectively. The International Culture Association will announce the Japanese representative for Miss World 2012 soon from the runners-up.

CARTAGENA DE INDIAS, Colombia - Daniella Margarita Álvarez Vásquez (23, 1.73m, Barranquilla) was crowned Señorita Colombia 2011/2012 at the conclusion of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia 2011/2012 celebrated at the Getsemaní Auditorium of the Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala Convention Center in Cartagena de Indias. She will represent Colombia in Miss Universe 2012. Melissa Carolina Varón Ballesteros finished in second place. Melina Ramírez Serna, Laura Marcela Cantillo Torres and Thael Osorio Redondo completed the Top Five.

News from Angola

Edmilza Nicósia Mota dos Santos (20, 1.73m, Malanje) was supposed to compete in Miss World 2011 but withdrew because of visa problems. Comité Miss Angola recently announced that she will represent Angola in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia next July. The new Miss Angola Mundo pageant is scheduled for June/July 2012 and will be organized by Comité Miss Angola to select Angola's representative for Miss World 2013. The Miss Angola Universo 2012 pageant is scheduled for next December as customary.

Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012

Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Bodine Koehler Peña (18, 1.83m, Río Grande) was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012 at the Luis A. Ferré Performing Arts Center in San Juan. She will represent Puerto Rico in Miss Universe 2012. The first runner-up is Vanessa de Roide Toledo (Carolina) and the second runner-up is Gabriela Berríos Pagán (Toa Alta). Jennifer Guevara Campos (Arroyo), Nadyalee Torres (Aguas Buenas) and Shaleyka Vélez Avilés (Aguada) completed the Top 6 finalists.

Verónica Rodríguez Hernández (Camuy), Sacha Valdés Orta (Loíza), Mara Liz Rivera Ramos (Mayagüez) and Darla Pacheco Montañez (Yabucoa) were the Top 10 semi-finalists.
Nicole Marie Pérez Aponte (Cayey), Beverly Álvarez Torres (Lajas), Raiza González Montes (Morovis), Sug Haley Torres Feliciano (Sábana Grande), Rahman Khalil Mohamed (Toa Baja) and Jennifer Luyando Cruz (Yauco) were the Top 16 quarter-finalists.
Nicole Marie Pérez Aponte (Cayey) won the Best National Costume Award, Nadyalee Torres (Aguas Buenas) won Miss Photogenic, Raiza González Montes (Morovis) won Miss Congeniality and Bodine Koehler Peña (Río Grande) won the Best JCPenney Style Award.
38 contestants competed for the national pageant broadcasted live on Telemundo.

MISS WORLD 2011

21 year-old, Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares from Venezuela won the 61st Miss World pageant held at the Earls Court Two in London, England. She is the sixth winner from Venezuela. Gwendoline Gaelle Sandrine Ramos Ruais from the Philippines finished as the first runner-up and Amanda Victoria Vilanova Pérez from Puerto Rico finished as the second runner-up.

Alize Lily Mounter from England, Kyung Min Doe from Korea, Bokang Ramaredi Montjane from South Africa and Jennifer Karen Reoch from Scotland completed the Top 7 Finalists.

Astrid Ellena Indriana Yunadi from Indonesia, Nunziata Tania Bambaci from Italy, Zhanna Zhumaliyeva from Kazakhstan, Carla García Barber from Spain, Nicoline Artursson from Sweden, Yaroslava Kuryacha from Ukraine, Esonica Mictecia Veira from the United States Virgin Islands and Malaika Mushandu from Zimbabwe were the Top 15 Semi-finalists.

Miss World Sports 2011 was Marianly Tejada Burgos from the Dominican Republic, Miss World Beach Beauty 2011 was Alize Lily Mounter from England, Miss World Talent 2011 was Gabriela Pulgar Luco from Chile, Miss World Top Model 2011 was Zhanna Zhumaliyeva from Kazakhstan and Miss World Beauty with a Purpose was a tie between Astrid Ellena Indriana Yunadi from Indonesia and Stephanie Adwoa Adjeiwaa Karikari from Ghana.

The Queen of the Americas is Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares from Venezuela, the Queen of Asia and Oceania is Gwendoline Gaelle Sandrine Ramos Ruais from the Philippines, the Queen of the Caribbean is Amanda Victoria Vilanova Pérez from Puerto Rico, the Queen of Europe is Alize Lily Mounter from England and the Queen of Africa is Bokang Ramaredi Montjane from South Africa.

The Times of Beauty's Best National Director of 2011

For her commitment and passion in revamping pageantry in the island of Martinique and year after year bringing well prepared delegates to Miss World, for her initiative of bringing the island of Saint Barthélemy to international pageantry, for her openness and accessibility to the pageant community, The Times of Beauty is honored to announce our 2011 choice for Best National Director, Moana Sarann Luu.

Miss Mondo Italia 2011, Tania Bambaci, is the grand winner of the It's your Choice Poll. She is the The Times of Beauty's audience favorite for the Miss World crown. This magnificent lady certainly captivated many people with her beauty, personality and intelligence. Congratulations Tania!
Finishing in second place is Bárbara Franco, Miss Mundo Portugal 2011. In third place is Antonella Cecilia Kruger Flores, Miss Mundo Argentina 2011. Isi Topçiu-Ulaj, Miss World Albania 2011, finished in fourth place. Benazir Berends Charles, Miss Bonaire 2010/2011, completed the Top Five.

2nd The Times of Beauty Choice Awards

The Times of Beauty in collaboration with the Eye for Beauty Blog worked together to determine our choices in several special categories judging from the contestant performances during the Miss World 2011 pageant.  
This is the second year in a row that we work to determine the winners of the following categories: Best Catwalk, Best Hair, Best in Evening Gown, Best in Swimsuit, Best Personality, Eyes of the World, Face of the World, Model Look, Most Elegant, Most Fashionable, Smile of the World, Best in Africa, Best in the Americas, Best in Asia and Oceania, Best in the Caribbean and Best in Europe. 
We announced on November 3 the Best National Pageant Production which was awarded to Miss Bulgaria 2011 and its producers No Frame Media.
Coming soon we will reveal our choice for Best National Director.
