Sanna Kankaanpää fue coronada Miss Maailma Suomi 2009 y tiene la tarea de representar a Finlandia en Miss World 2009 en Sudáfrica el 12 de diciembre. La primera finalista es Oona Kare y la segunda finalista es Heli Kuhlberg.
